The Regional Status of Gozo shall be enshrined in the Constitution and the Laws of Malta. Through the implementation of this proposal, Gozo shall finally receive the recognition it deserves, along with the perks that come along with being recognised as such. In this way Gozo shall be eligible to receive EU regional funding, aiding further in the development and regeneration of the island.
This is a very good proposal. When the PN was in government EU funds were utilized to for e.g. resurface major roads in Gozo. Accessing EU regional funding would help Gozo further both in infrastructure as well as in education, health and the creation of jobs. Joseph
