Publish a new Code of Ethics for Ministers, re-introducing the prohibition on Ministers carrying out private practice and the obligation to declare the income and assets of their spouses. Ministers will not be permitted to employ members of their family, or business partners, in their Secretariats or in positions of trust. There shall be a limit on the number of positions of trust a Minister may appoint.
Why not? We can in this way get rid of the stupid situations that we have found ourselves in time and time again.
