Since the introduction of the popular and successful Harlescott Park and Ride service, the town has expanded dramatically and it is now the case that the P&R is no longer on the outer perimeter of the town. This means that cars must journey part-way into the town in order to reach the P&R, resulting in more traffic and congestion on Battlefield Road. The P&R should be relocated out of town, perhaps off the Battlefield Roundabout.
