TASK : Learning As We Are Growing Together

TASK : Learning As We Are Growing Together

Upgrading and enhancement of the current nursery and afterschool garden environments and equipment, developing the various curricular and wellbeing aspects of each area. We will create planters and focused garden areas that compliment the 5 Senses, embracing plants and foliage that will provide opportunities for our babies, toddlers, and afterschool age groups to feel, smell and see the many benefits of the natural world around us.

Points

It is important that the children in our community can experience and learn about the natural world around them, and benefit from the many developmental and wellbeing assets that it has to offer. The project will deliver free family sessions, including indoor and outdoor experiences: How to develop and care for their very own bespoke window boxes. Recycle sessions for creating hanging baskets and bird feeders etc.

Great Idea for involving children and their families together.

I think it’s great idea it allows children and their families to come together.

I’m all for it, it sounds absolutely amazing and I know me and my two could definitely do with some help and guidance so this would be massively appreciated by us.

This is an amazing idea which I totally support , as it will allow our children and families to enjoy and be involved in their local environment on their doorstep and develop and create a natural, calm and mindful space to explore and enhance their learning using their senses
