Planning Permits

Planning Permits

Do not issue development permits unless the development includes garages or underground parking (in the case of blocks of apartments). At the moment the developer simply gets a fine if parking is not catered for in the development, the developer pays the fine and the residents will have to live with the problem. Not fair, the fine is not even a substantial one, such cases should not be approved

Points

Support this idea, but it should go one better. The garage should be included in the price of the property because currently purchasing garages is optional thus still creating parking problems.

Insist that developrs do not sell the garages separately, but with the apartment as per PA Permit....as it stands today, nearly all developrs abuse the permit and sell the garages separately and to no block owners whilst apartment owners remain without a agarage or would have to buy at commercial rate when it should be included with the apartment as per permit.
