All citizens are organ donors unless they opt out

Rather than people must sign up to become organ donors, people must sign up to a refusal register if they do not want to be donors. This has been introduced in France, Austria and Spain and has been crucial in saving lives. If it is not possible to sign up to the refusal register, people can also sign and date a written refusal and leave it with a relative, or make an oral testimony to a relative who will then need to attest this wish to a medical team.

Points

This is an excellent idea that incentivises organ donation in a simple manner. I believe such an idea would reach broad consensus.

I believe that everyone should make an informed decision on this matter

What's great is that everyone still has the option to opt out should they want to.

This was the new when France announced it earlier this year.
