Having a more inclusive society

Having a more inclusive society

There needs to be an environment that will enhance the integration of foreign nationals who are sorely needed to ensure sufficient labour supply for our growing economy. Secluding foreigners will eventually lead to social problems. This is an emotionally charged aspect however we need to promote initiatives for creating spaces where people can mingle, contribute towards society and become fluent in our language. This will ensure that our society will embrace multiculturalism to our benefit.

Points

Such a crucial step for not only Malta but the whole world. We can't expect to live in a globalised world only when it suits us. Language and rhetoric are vital here and politicians are some of the worst offenders.
