A number of post graduate students prefer to study abroad for two main reasons: - Maltese facilities are not up to standard with regards to research opportunities - There are very few viable jobs for people with higher education especially in the science sector Incentives should be set up so that there are more high quality jobs in Malta requiring MSc. or PhD qualifications.
