Improving the state of Legal Aid

Improving the state of Legal Aid

A complete reform of the Legal Aid offered by the State is required. A better system should be implemented where individuals can choose the advocate forming part of the Legal Aid team themselves, allowing them to choose the representation they feel fits their case best. Furthermore, the State should include the possibility for independent lawyers and notaries, who willingly and voluntarily wish to dedicate an amount of time per month to use their experience to help those in need.
