Malta needs citizens who are critical thinkers who can look at arguments objectively without resorting to partisan politics. To this end, civics and critical thinking skills can be enhanced through lectures, discussion and healthy debates held at local council facilities. We need to learn how to the moral courage of good convictions, and in this way model good leadership. We need to eradicate amoral familism.
