Our National Orchestra is consistently growing in strength, representing the country abroad (China, Milan Expo, Frankfurt, Rome, Bozar, Musikverein) with astounding success. Yet, Malta is the only EU Member State without a symphonic concert hall which the orchestra may call its home. Inspite of including this idea in its 2013 manifesto, the PL failed to deliver on it. Culture is Malta's strongest resource - this investment is essential to ensure continued artistic and economic success.
It would be amazing that Malta would finally have a hall Specifically for musical concerts.
it makes sense if we really wish to have a serious cultural environment. Valletta2018 without a real concert hall is a joke
