As commuters we witness and experience the disastrous lack of traffic planning imposed on us and often complain that there are obvious changes that cost very little that can make a significant difference to current bottlenecks. The 'user experience' is key. Being stuck in a jam gives us time to assess the problem and the solutions. we need a proper forum to air our ideas ....

Start a proper study to remove roundabouts and replace them with intelligent traffic lights. This decision was taken in Australia many years ago and it removed a lot of bottlenecks. Roundabouts bring traffic to a halt, often needlessly.
Agree but it needs to be across the board for all road users - as a community of road users otherwise it wont work.
