Aspects of this are already being done in some subjects example Personal Social Career Development. The problem with critical thinking is that the skills learnt in such a subject need to be integrated within the various curriculum subjects.... Educational professionals are very aware of this, however time is against them as focus seems to be in many instances on content due to the formal methods of assessment still in place at various levels example MATSEC.
