Set up a Council for the Economy as a consultative board which will advise the Prime Minister on longterm economic sustainability, and the opportunities and risks linked to different policies and sectors. This Council will be composed of reputable and independent individuals and will be adequately resourced.
Equally important is to ensure that we have sufficient supply of skills, present and future. This is key in attracting investment towards Malta. Creating a balance between economic growth and skills development is crucial, will result in sustainable economic development and will contribute towards the reduction of poverty.
