A lot of mothers quit their jobs to be full time mothers in the early years of childhood. Once their children are old enough to go to school a lot of these women would like to return to work, which can be difficult after an absence of several years, and the only option is often becoming an LSA. If training could be offered, during school hours, with real employment opportunities on completion of the course and working hours that coincide with school hours more women would return to work.
