Single people are always forgotten

Single people are always forgotten

We are the fogotten section of the Maltese people. Everyone thinks ' hey you're single, no kids or partner to worry about'. Well we do have things to worry about because we pay taxes and no one comes up with something for us. A problem shared is a problem halved. I have to solve my own problems and usually have to pay for services. The thing that stings the most is once single no subsidy is given as regards the utilities. I appreciate more thoughts from people in the same predicament.

Points

I feel the same way and full concur with your sentiments.

agreed...additional leave. Single people don't have the option of letting their other half wait for the repair man, or do the laundry, or take the car to be fixed, etc. We need more time off to get things done ourselves.
