Rules on public sector use of social media

All public sector employees should serve the Government of the day and should not be allowed to post content of a political nature in the public domain and on social media. As things stand, those who post publicly in favour of the Labour party are being showered with jobs and promotions, whilst those who remain impartial are fired or demoted. Even if just posting views of a personal nature, public sector employees should be seen to be impartial.

Points

Fully agreed with one addition: public sector (Govt. entities) AND public service (Ministries, Directorates etc...)
