The premise is simple - you work for who pays you. Political parties should be working in the name of all citizens. Democracy is government of the people, by the people, for the people. NOT government of the people, by the rich and powerful, for the rich and powerful. If we want a real democracy, if we want political parties to work for the people, if we are fed up of corruption, then we have to nip it in the bud, from where it all starts - the financing of political parties.
Such an idea should apply to all parties and parties should put all their finances online so that there will be transparency.
