There are lots of stray cats in our villages and many animal lovers volunteer to help such animals by feeding them, neutering them and even homing them. Some are homing a considerable amount. A govt subsidy could be introduced to help them financially. An ngo could also be formed with branches in local councils offering vet services, feeding stray cats in the streets and vaccinating them to minimise risks of diseases.
I agree that something must be done for the stray cats. I am a feeder and it can be quite costly.
I fully agree, my wife feeds about 70 cats and I know what it takes and what is the cost. Some help would be very welcome.
