Gozo should not be just a summer destination. Tourists (and Maltese) visit the island not just for the beaches. They are also in awe of our lifestyle, the laid-back attitude, our food, the people and culture. The government to help set up a monthly or bi-monthly farmers and artisan market. Imagine all of Republic Street laid out with stalls selling produce, food, art, crafts, etc. Villages can take turns to host the event. A stage can be set up for musicians. The possibilities are endless.
