The overarching requirement is a change in culture to a caring society, which encompasses all aspects of life. It encompasses people, environment, politics, collaboration and cooperation. If we go a little bit deeper into a couple of them, equality has to be one of the driving forces, social equality, that everybody matters and that everybody can be themselves. There was a strong feeling that this links with the feminisation of politics and politics becoming softer.
This proposal is a bit wishy washy but it’s essential values are critical
Our group talked about how we value care, caring about each other. We were talking about tribal societies before and how they would work on a system of favours. Althought that might not be scalable in society today, we see that there can be some sort of favour system, we have seen this with the NHS in the sense that people put into it and others can take out of it when in need. We feel that we have lost that sense that we need to share, give each others favours and care for our neighbour
In Saturday's assembly, one group fedback about cooperation too. They said: "We looked at cooperation and what thay means at a local community level. But also corporations work differently in cooperation in public law. We talked about differently people working cooperatively in different ways, whether it is coops, hackers, collectives and other allies"
